Operational parameters

The speed and altitude envelope enables the MSTARC-40 to simulate a wide range of aerial threats — from low-level sea-skimming profiles to high-altitude reconnaissance or strike passes — while the tactical range supports a full engagement cycle from launch to intercept and recovery.

Payload Capabilities

Modules are hot-swappable and can be mixed to recreate compound threat signatures (e.g., radar + IR + smoke). Payload mounts are engineered for secure release and safe carriage during high-g manoeuvres.

Smoke tracking flares (up to 8) —

Produce persistent visual trails for optical tracking and live gunnery practice.

Infrared tracking flares (up to 16) —

Emulate heat signatures for IR seekers and flare-dispersion countermeasure testing.

IFF transponder (Modes A & C) —

integration for identification/interrogation training and scenario realism

Luneberg lenses (360°) —

dramatically increase radar cross section for realistic radar tracking and SAM training.

Frequency-specific active radar augmenters —

programmable repeaters to emulate different radar return characteristics.

Radar altimeter / sea-skimming module —

enables low-altitude maritime threat profiles and seaskimming simulations.

Acoustic & Doppler radar MDI / instrumentation —

telemetry and signature sensors to provide postmission analysis and range instrumentation data.
